Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or in person with Ray Ward Gunsmith. We recommend you read these carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

By using this site, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. All transactions with Ray Ward Gunsmith will be governed by these Terms & Conditions.

All references to the “company”, “us” or “we” will refer to Ray Ward Gunsmith. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Web Site shall include reference to all URL’s owned by Ray Ward Gunsmith.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods; Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone or in person. Please refer to our Payment section for details. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorized by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

The method of delivery will be discussed with you at the time of placing the order.  

If items are posted/couriered to you but damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Returns and Exchanges
Should you wish to  wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please write a letter explaining the reasons / issues and send it back to us together, unused, with the products original packaging and labelling within 28 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.

If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please write a letter giving details of the fault and send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 28 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate.

It is our recommendation that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.

Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated. Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

If you have any problems with any items purchased from Ray Ward Gunsmith, these are guaranteed for a period of six months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original receipt to Ray Ward Gunsmith.

We ask that all items must be returned in an unused, clean, dry condition.  Failure to do so, may result in the item being returned to you without our attention.  If you have any questions, please contact us on [email protected].

Your right to cancel  

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 days runs from when you get the last of the batch.

This 14-day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back all goods must be in a new and unused condition in unopened packaging together with a copy of your original receipt.

Your right to a refund  

You should get a refund within 14 days of us getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office).

All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed courier’s direct costs from the refund given.

Pricing and Description Errors
Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of Goods
Until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received by Ray Ward Gunsmith, these items remain the property of Ray Ward Gunsmith. 

Should you have any complaints or compliments regarding Ray Ward Gunsmith, please send an email to [email protected].  We will try out best to respond within five working days of receipt.  Should we not be able to resolve your complaint immediately, you will be given a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.
